That being said, in order to dedicate our time, resources, and expertise to all of our projects, we kindly request that you carefully consider your options before seeking additional quotes for the same service from other contractors. Our proposals are based on a thorough assessment of our clients’ needs and we have tailored our services to align with their unique requirements. If a customer chooses to obtain alternative quotes for the roof replacement associated with their insurance claim, our proposed services will no longer be available… We understand that making decisions about such matters is crucial, and we are committed to providing you with all the information and assistance needed to make an informed choice.

  • If unexpected issues or additional work arise during a project that was not included in the original estimate, the contractor may submit a supplement to the insurance company for additional coverage. It allows for adjustments to be made to the coverage or payout based on new information that comes to light during the process of repair or reconstruction.

  • Depreciation refers to the decrease in the value of an asset (your residential property) over time, due to factors such as wear and tear, obsolescence, aging, and market influences that affect the property value.

  • A Statement of Loss, also known as an Adjustment Summary, is a document prepared by an insurance adjuster that outlines the details of a claim. It typically proves a summary of the losses or damages covered by an insurance policy, the estimated costs of repairs or replacements, and the amount the insurance company is willing to pay to settle the claim.

  • Insurance companies will determine a “cost” to re-roof your home. In their assessment, they cost the job using Xactimate software and basic roofing material. GAF’s warranties require certain components of the roof to be GAF material, so the warranty fee and the GAF material required to get you the warranty will be an out of pocket expense. We can assure you, it’s worth it!
